While I thought I was handling his love of food with the grace and humility of a seasoned parent who recognizes she isn’t controlling any of this…it turns out I might have been a teensy bit smug about it.

All the professional advice is that I should choose focus. “Niche down,” it’s called. Choosing a specialty so you can focus your offerings to people who want just that thing. I love the simplicity of it. I’ve tried to do it so many times, and I just can’t!

Being a Mom is no joke.  But at least I’m a solo parent. And an entrepreneur. It’s a lot.
